From Africa to Cuba: A cheerful wedding in Havana
With a tropical and colorful style, this wedding decoration was inspired by the mixture of African and Cuban roots, which are so common to our culture. It was an Angolan wedding, Cuban made, or vice versa, because what matters is love and there was a lot of that. For the wedding ceremony, held in the gardens of the Hotel Nacional de Cuba, the design team opted for wooden benches and arch with foliage and tropical flowers, framing the view of Havana Bay.
For the wedding reception the design again privileged the combination of rustic and other more classic elements. White table linen and napkins, and centerpieces with golden accents in which the color of the flowers were the real attraction. The table of the bride and groom with a backdrop of pallets became the protagonist of the room, due to the successful combination of decorative elements and the variety of tones used in floral arrangements. Garlands of light bulbs completed the warm atmosphere the bride and groom wanted.
